We have been coming to PSV for 4 years now, with Snowbizz. A great place for families. Affordable, genuine ski-in / ski-out at 1600. Snowbizz ski school and kids club are great. Resort is not huge, but plenty to keep intermediates happy. Lift queues rare. A great location to get started skiing.

Have been going to Puy for 14 years; visited around 20 times and only had 1 occasion when snow was not too good. That said it was mid April. The resort has expanded over this time and the facilities have improved. Great family resort for those who want to ski/board and then relax. Restaurants are improving and the ski instructors are fantastic. Most accommodation is basic but clean.

Just back from a second year's Christmas skiing at PSV (Puy St Vincent). Stayed at Chalet Dame Blanche (1800m). Excellent position at the edge of a red run down to main 1600 hub, and quite easy to walk to access easier pistes down. Snow depth, Christmas 2012, was phenomenal and resort fully open, but runs a bit icy. Less snow depth, Christmas 2013, and consequently not all of resort open, resulting in some queuing, but nothing excessive. Fresh powder on Christmas day transformed the place! As a family of intermediate and beginners we have yet to out-grow the place and its stunning scenery. Fantastic family feel to resort; if you want bars and clubbing then look elsewhere. Instead, you get a friendly atmosphere; 60 instructors dressed in Santa outfits doing a torch lit procession down the mountain on Christmas eve!

We are presently in Puy St Vincent. Last snow fall on 19/12 and expecting snox again on 25/12. It is a resort suited for families with nice runs for kids and a couple of black run. Also freeride. Very good around the ski resort. We are staying in the village at 1400 m where there are traditional accommodations, hôtels and gites. A couple of gites are run by English families. Very little entertainment in the evening. Nearest airport is Turino, approximately 2 hours by car. Ryanair and BA from London/Manchester.

Having skied for a number years in France (mainly La Plagne) we wanted to try another resort, so we booked a family ski holiday in PSV (Puy St Vincent) in early April '09. We are a family of 5 with children aged 11-17 who have skied from an early age. We stayed at 1800 and found the fairly new chalet style accommodation good. It was a nice walk to the main resort at 1600 (but a bit of a trek back with food shopping). We found PSV (Puy St Vincent) a quiet resort although 1600 has a couple of good family friendly bar/restaurants. Skiing in early April means that there were spring snow conditions - very soft from lunchtime onwards. Having skied for 25 years I would recommend the resort for a first or second time ski holiday, or for groups of mixed ability and whilst there are some good scenic runs through the trees and a couple of challenging black runs, we all found that we had comfortably skied the whole resort within 2 days. It lacked the quality and variety of runs available in other larger resorts.

We have been to Puy (Puy St Vincent) many times and it has been great this year. The snow was the best in 20 years.

I can't recommend Puy St Vincent enough for families. My husband and I had skied before but this was the first time for our three girls (11, 9 and 6). We stayed at La Dame Blanche which is right on the slopes so no treking to buses. No queuing, wonderful atmosphere; perfect for first timers. We are currently looking to book for this Easter.

We are going back for our 6th trip. Can't wait. In our group we have two families with two under thirteen, three teenagers and four adults. The resort is great for all of us, as we are all intermediate skiers. Also there are a large range of wide slopes, as well as fantastic small trails through the woods with jumps bumps and banked turns, which the kids and teenagers love. The Chemin has the best trails just off piste. Great wide variety of accommodation between the three basses at 1400m, 1600m, and 1800m with small apartments right up to luxurious chalets. New lifts and a better ski park have been put in place meaning the resort is just getting better and better! This does mean that the resort has become more busy, but is does'nt mean long queues at the lifts. There is not much nightlife for the young adults though! Still great though.

We are booked for our 3rd season this coming winter - and we (and the kids) can't wait. It is a fantastic family resort - we have a 4 and 6 year old and they both enjoy it as much as we do:-) We use the creche and junior ski school - both are fab and the staff are just lovely. The 1st year we went it was just the 4 of us now we take 2 other families with us (they're both booked in for their 2nd year too). There are loads of repeat visitors which says it all really.

Rubbish place, terrible snow, badly equipped, awful lift system. You will hate it, go somewhere else. Will be booking for myself and my family again next year......
