Visitor Reviews of Pippu

Fraser Galloway from Australia writes:

Pippu is a strawberry growing area so has a strawberry logo (like the skiing potato logo in Niseko Hirafu!). It is really a local village ski hill. Has a rental shop/eatery at the bottom. 8 lifts are claimed but it is really a three/four lift mountain. Is close to Asahikawa city and is good for a one day visit only. Use Asahikawa city for a base to ski Pippu, Kamui, Asakhidake and Furano! Mainly intermediate terrain.
