What's it like at June Mountain resort?

June Mountain is in the Eastern Sierra peaks, past its bigger sister, Mammoth. The runs for beginners are wide open and tantalizing; plenty of intermediate terrain and challenge. June Mountain is great for families, too. All the trails eventually end up at the Chalet. The skiable terrain covers 500 acres on a 2,589-foot vertical drop. The top of June Mountain is 10,135 feet. There are numerous lodges, chalets, cottages, town homes, and hotels all within driving distance of June Mountain.

I have fallen in love with this resort. Its old school and has perfect terrain for people who just want to take it mellow. Mammoth get all the fame, but I prefer June, especially after or during a big storm
